2nd Birthday pictures and 2nd Year Stats
James and Emma had their 2 year appointment with the doctor this morning. Their nurse, Vecky, and pediatrician, Dr. Christie, were thrilled to see how much James and Emma has grown and developed. They both were in good moods so had the whole office laughing with their jumping, running, singing and dancing.
James' stats:
Height: 33.5 in (25th percentile)
Weight: 29lb 2oz (50-75 percentile)
Head Circ: 19.2 in (75th percentile)
Emma's stats:
Height: 33 in (25th percentile)
Weight: 25lb 2oz (25-50th percentile)
Head Circ: 18.5 in (25-50th percentile)
We were unable to get their 2 year shots because James has been under the weather so we will have to go back in a couple weeks. We will also have to go back to do James' kidney ultrasound and for both of them to have blood work to make sure they are getting enough iron.
Dr. Christie recommends we start potty training. We have been working with them off and on for the past few months, but Dr. Christie said the time has come for them to start the switch.
Here are some more pictures of James and Emma on their big day.
Emma on the new see saw

James on his new bike

Emma, who refused to put on her helmet, walked her bike.
Did I mention that they are definitely showing that they are in the terrible twos!

James showing Grandma that he is ready to take the car

Emma finally decided she wanted to ride her bike so she reluctantly wore her helmet

Happy Halloween
I don't have the pictures ready yet from Trick or Treat, but here are some pictures from the Del Ray Halloween Parade on Sunday.

James even made the local online news:

You may ask - why didn't Emma make the news? Well, that would be because Emma decided to run the entire parade from start to finish. Her little lady bug wings were flapping in the wind as she ran in and out of people to finish the parade in record time. I think she thought we were at the Marine Corp Marathon that was also being run that day instead of a parade.

Fun day for a sail
A friend of ours offered to take us all sailing for the day. We jumped at the chance to take Emma and James on their first sailing adventure. It was a little chilly, but we dressed for the occasion and had a great time. Thanks Dr. Mark!!
