18 Month Stats
James and Emma had a good doctor's visit this morning and were very brave while getting 2 shots each. Dr. Christie was very pleased with their developmental progress. Emma has a dictionary of words at this point in both Spanish and English and James has at least double of what is recommended for this age. She was happy to see it because boys tend to develop words slower than girls.
The timing was perfect for our visit because Emma has bronchitis again so we were able to get her prescription filled and blood oxygen checked for her inhaler filled while we were there which hopefully will save us a visit to the urgent care.
James has a squint in his left eye. It could be related to his helmet since it seems to tip to that side, but Dr. Christie thought it would be best if we had him checked by a pediatric eye doctor. We will be doing that and blood test (standard) for both of them in the next week or so.
James and Emma are small and didn't have much growth progress since their 12 month visit. Dr. Christie isn't concerned because they are still on the growth chart and are very good eaters.
James:
Height 30.63 in (9%)
Weight 26.6 lbs (57%)
Emma:
Height 29.5 in (4%)
Weight 21.14 lbs (15%)

Happy 18 Months!
James and Emma are growing like weeds. We have their 18 month doctor's appointment on Monday so I will post their stats after their appointment. We have some great videos of them playing in the backyard so if James and Emma cooperate today with naps I will get them posted.
James has one month left to go on his helmet and then we will be all done. He is still making progress so we are glad we decided to get the third helmet.
