I graduated!!

James had his last day of physical therapy on Friday and has officially graduated. He had a head tilt of 30% off center when we first started nine months ago and now he is down to 5% - which is within the normal range. He easily uses both hands, arms, and legs to perform functions and his neck muscles are no longer tight on his left side. James is very glad to be done! We celebrated with playing on the porch with his BFF Darcy.
James and Emma can now easily climb up on the sofa. We are entering a new phase of fast moving and climbing toddlers.

Happy 16 Months!

Even though the weather wasn't great, it was still warm enough for us to have some outdoor fun this weekend.

James said enough photos Mom.

Saturday, James and Emma attended their first rugby game.

We now have toddlers

Our little babies are up and moving now and have reached the toddler stage.

We had beautiful weather on Sunday so we decided to take the kids to the playground near our house. They had a great time and put up a big fuss when were leaving. I think we will be regulars there from now on.

Back at the house, James rides his big rig.

Happy Valentine's Day

James and Emma helped Mommy and Daddy celebrate Valentine's Day and Mommy's birthday with chocolate cake.

Emma put on Daddy's boots to help shovel the snow a couple weeks ago.

15 months!! Sorry no picture today

James rang in his 15 month milestone with a trip to urgent care for a bad cold and fever. He has been hovering between 101 and 103 most of the weekend. The poor guy is simply miserable.

I will get a picture posted later this week when he feels a little better but I wanted to post their stats. James is now 26lbs13oz and 30 1/2 inches. Since Emma didn't make a trip to the doctor, we did her height and weight ourselves. She is now 22lbs and 29 1/2 inches.

They are now getting an extensive vocabulary. Here are a few of their favorites

Mama
Dada
Dardar (Darcy the dog)

Ah oh

Barbara

James has just a few sessions left of physical therapy and will start his 3rd (and last) helmet in two weeks. They are hoping that even though he is 15 months that they can get the one little area to grow in that has not completed yet.

Emma has taken a hiatus from her brief night of walking.

Emma takes a step

I think she did it just because her parents were driving her crazy, but Emma took a few steps on Wednesday night. She hasn't walked much since, but hopefully she has the confidence now to try it again.

Here they are enjoying their rocking lamb and pony that they received for their birthday in November.
